Vital is a new approach to ICT CPD. Funded by the DfE and operated by The Open University with eSkills UK, Vital is an innovative professional development programme which aims to support schools in England to make the most of ICT in their teaching. The site hosts a variety of ICT CPD resources, including a range of courses and shorter more informal ‘15 minute CPD’ sessions. Vital is also home to an engaging and fast-growing online community of practitioners, with a variety of forums, wikis and blogs where you can discuss the use of ICT in education, share good practice and ideas, and access a range of easy to implement activities to try in the classroom. There is also a marketplace where local CPD providers can showcase their provision. | |
